Paramount is made from chosen vines that represent the best of each of Source Napa's vineyards. The fruit destined for Paramount is hand-thinned and hand-sorted for crushing and only the "free-run" cut of juice is used. Paramount is aged 18 months in select cooperage for its full development.

Both slopes are very rocky, free draining soils, ensuring full ripeness under stressful growing conditions.
