Named for the chapel which once stood among its vines, this is the most delicate and elegant of Gevery's grands crus, with silky, refined black cherry flavors offset by sweet, toasty oak in a lacy structure.
Wine Spectator 90 points - More rustic in style, with coarse tannins asserting themselves over cherry, menthol and earth notes. Yet not overly dry on the finish, suggesting that this just needs time to integrate. Best from 2009 through 2016. 110 cases made. –BS (May 15 2007)
